Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Picckles (“we” or “us”) collects when you use picckles.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service, and we do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address. If you sign up with an email and password, your password is stored only as a one-way hash; we never see it.
  • Google sign-in— if you choose “Sign in with Google,” Google shares your name, email address and whether that email is verified. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data.
  • Billing — payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We keep your plan, subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
  • Positions you track — trades you record or that are tracked for you from alerts (ticker, price, quantity, dates), so the site can show your own results.
  • Signals API — if you use the API, your API keys and request usage.
  • Affiliate referrals — if you arrived through a referral link, the referral code, so the referring affiliate can be credited.
  • Usage and device data — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through analytics tools (see section 4), plus standard server logs such as IP address used for security and rate limiting.

Picckles does not connect to your brokerage account and does not collect your brokerage login, account numbers or balances.

2. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To send the trade alerts and account emails you signed up for (for example, trial and billing notices).
  • To process subscriptions and pay affiliate commissions.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

Occasional marketing emails include a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the alerts or essential account emails for an active plan.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Picckles, and only what each needs:

  • Stripe — payment processing and affiliate payouts.
  • Google — Google sign-in (if you use it) and Google Analytics.
  • Meta — the Meta Pixel, which measures visits and signups from Facebook and Instagram.
  • Cloudflare — website delivery and security.
  • Our hosting and email providers — to store data and deliver email.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Picckles and its users. Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember a referral link for up to 30 days, and to measure signups. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own cookies to measure site traffic and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works for browsing, but you will need cookies enabled to sign in.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your account and the data tied to it are permanently removed from our database. Stripe and our other providers keep their own records (for example, payment records required for tax purposes) under their own policies.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Delete your account at any time from the Billing page. This also cancels any active subscription.
  • Access or correct your information, or ask a question about it, by emailing us at the address below.
  • Revoke Google accessat any time from your Google Account’s security settings.

7. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

Picckles is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. For significant changes, we will notify account holders by email.
